The Galar League (Japanese: ガラルリーグ Galar League) is the regional Pokémon League of the Galar region. The Galar League is composed of eight Gym Leaders and the Champion. Unlike the Pokémon Leagues of previous regions, Pokémon Trainers in Galar must receive a letter of endorsement to participate in the Gym Challenge (Japanese: ジムチャレンジ Gym Challenge). Trainers who earn eight Gym Badges by defeating the Gym Leaders of the Galar League will qualify to participate in the annual Champion Cup (Japanese: チャンピオンカップ Champion Cup) tournament at Wyndon Stadium. This Pokémon League is known for having Dynamax in its Gym battles thanks to the League’s chairman.
